Rule # 5
Posted: 3/16/2010 3:27 PM by Juliana B. Ruggiero
To keep "flame wars" under control do not be rude to others. Do not "chat" (I-M or E-Mail) if you know that you are going to get mad at them. Say nice things to others on the internet. Stop mean letters and help stop fights. It helps keep fights off of the internet. If you do not want people to know what you are feeling do not put them on line.

Our group has decided to stay off chat if we don't  like the person. It is safe.

our group says that if a person you are mad at is online stay away and try to avoid chatting with them

We would not start a flame war because it could hurt other peoples feelings. If someone sends you a mean message, then ignore it and dont reply.

You should not fight in the internet no matter what happens.

we agree that online arguments are anoying and rude. getting in an argument with others online is a very bad move. I would try to be as nice as posible to people online and if someone was rude to me I would  be upset. when I get upset on the internet I would log off to stop the feud.

These are all very wise comments!  I am glad none of you would start or participate in a flame war.  Ignoring rude behavior and informing an adult is always the best policy.
