Our first Task will help you to practice writing online and reading what other people have written.

Even though we know one another well, think about something that you would like to share with your friends in this class.  Maybe you have an interest that nobody knows about, or maybe there’s something else that you’d like us to know. If you have trouble getting started, you could think about the answers to some of these questions. You do not have to answer all of them.
• What do you like to do when you are not in school? 
• What is your favorite subject in school?
• What do you want to be when you grow up?
• What kinds of stories, television shows, movies, or books to you like? 
• What is your favorite sport? 
• Do you play a sport?  Why do you like it?

Write a few sentences tell us something about yourself.

After you’ve posted your answer, read what 2 of your classmates have written.  Write a sentence or two to reply to them.
